We are a section of the worldwide family of scouting, with
over 100 members in the unit. We are for 14 to 18 year olds and everyone is welcome.
We are based in Whitley
Bay
We meet at many times throughout the week, depending on what
activities the Explorers choose, but the majority of them are on at 7:30pm to 9:30pm
at the various Scout headquarters dotted around the district.
We do a variety of different activities from archery to
musical open mic nights, from cooking to climbing. If you want a bit of
adventure, we also run special awards such as the Queen Scout Awards as well as the
Duke of Edinburgh Award. At Explorer Scouts there is something for everyone to enjoy.
